All good climate initiatives should be able to access funding

Earth Funders is dedicated to support climate initiatives around the globe.

Why?

Since the creation of CO2logic in 2007, we have been supporting companies in the definition and implementation of climate strategies, notably by developing certified* climate projects. But in order to reach the size and maturity required for certification and to progressively reach financial autonomy, climate projects sorely need support during the development phase. We need to give them enough time and means to create impactful results in the medium-long term!

In 15 years, we have seen some great projects fail because of a lack of initial funding. In response to this reality, we created Earth Funders, designed to support as many climate projects as possible in their development phase, through donation-based crowdfunding.

How?

Earth Funders is not just a fund, but a community of people dedicated to building a climate-friendly future.

Each year we select one or more climate projects to receive donation-based crowdfunding to help fund the early stages of their development and help them achieve financial self-sufficiency and certification. This type of support provides direct assistance, without the usual heavy financial constraints, allowing the project to benefit from the necessary resources during the start-up phase.

With the support of its sponsors, CO2logic is committed to covering all operational costs to ensure that 100% of the funds raised go directly to the projects, for a direct impact on the climate!

What?

There is so much we can do and impactful solutions exist!

All the projects are carefully selected and must demonstrate credible climate impact but also co-benefits covering areas such as health, gender equality and socio-economic development and respond to one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals**!

** SDG: In 2015, all the United Nations Member States adopted The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, providing a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future. At it’s heart are the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) which are an urgent call for action by all the countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand in hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
